On Saturday 11th July a number of our open water swimmers made their way to Chichester Watersports Centre to take part in the South East Region Open Water Championship. Three distances were contested - 5000m, 3000m and 1500m and we were represented at every distance.
It took an age but SER has finally issued details of the medal placings for the champs - and we did really well!
Particular congratulations go to our medalists:-
Michael Fabes - GOLD - 3000m
Freddie Wilkinson - SILVER - 1500m
Jack Mason - BRONZE - 1500m
Poppy Concannon - BRONZE - 5000m
Congratulations to everyone who took part in this challenging competition where wetsuits are not allowed! Brrr!
