Michael Fabes wins in the open water

Michael won round 5 of the Open Water Swim Aquathlon series at Datchet, last Saturday (17th Aug). This gives him a 1^st, 2^nd and a 6^th place so far this year. Currently he lies 3^rd in the championship. The final round on Sept 6^th, with double points, is likely to bring out the big guns, so he will need to be on form.

He also comfortably beat the UK’s top 3 senior women, who are all picked for the world champs in September.
