On the weekend Saturday 18th- Sunday 19th November, a group of Didcot Barramundi Swimmers travelled to Bristol to compete in ‘The Aquae Sulis Grand Prix’ long course, level 1 meet. This was hosted by Aquae Sulis Performance Swimming Club at the Hengrove Leisure Centre.

The group of swimmers who represented Barramundi at this gala were Edward Burrowes, Ollie Ripley, Freddie Wilkinson, Bethan Newland-Smith, Danny Amphlett and Alfie Baum.

The gala which all these swimmers competed in was a high level, so any medals and PBs were especially hard. Even with the extra difficulty everyone got a personal best or very close to one, many of which were well deserved county qualifying times. Our swimmers were well behaved and represented our club perfectly. The experience of such a high level gala is very important and we all value the experience fully. The entire group of swimmers who competed in Bristol did extremely well and on behalf of the Club ‘Well Done’.
