Boys Relay Team Scoop Silver Medal

For the 2^nd year running, Didcot Barramundi Swim Club’s youngest boys relay team have scooped a silver medal at the ASA County Championship relay events held at Bletchley.

It was a nail-biting finish to the 11/12 boys 4x50m medley relay, with the Didcot Barramundi boys finishing just 0.7 seconds behind gold medal place, in a fantastic time of 2mins 25.97secs. They also achieved 4^th place in the 4x50m freestyle relay, out of 23 teams competing.

The team, all aged 11, consisted of Ben Newell (backstroke), Chris Sims (breaststroke), Jack Mason (butterfly) and Morgan Smith (freestyle). All four boys have also qualified for numerous events in the individual County Championships being held in February.
