Barramundis Take the Plunge

Diving from the top board at Reading Central pool is an exhilarating experience and something a group of Barramundi swimmers enjoyed yesterday afternoon (Saturday 18th May). The Reading Diving Club coach had kindly agreed to spend an hour explaining the basics and gave the group a taster session that allowed them to use all the boards and diving platforms - and they all took to it like giant kingfishers!

Even the most tentative characters gave it a go, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed testing their nerve by jumping and diving from the springboards and diving platforms - even from 5 meters up - so much so that Iryna's worried they'll all ditch swimming to take up diving instead!
