Exceedingly Great Finish to Club Championships!

On the weekend Saturday 29th – Sunday 30th Didcot Barramundi competed in the second and final weekend of Club Championships, hosted by the very ‘energetic’ City of Oxford Swimming Club at the Temple Cowley Pool.For those who don’t know Club Championships is a competition where the whole club competes together attempting new events and distances. We had an amazing start to this gala a fortnight ago and have done brilliantly in the second weekend also with Personal bests (Pb’s) all around and a supportive and encouraging Club moral which grows stronger every gala. I would like to put in a special Well Done to all those younger swimmers where this was their first gala and I hope to see all the swimmers who competed at the Award Ceremony to collect their well-deserved medals.

To finish off with, on behalf of our Club I want to Thank Oxford Swimming Club for inviting us and Well Done to all swimmers that have been competing at all the recent galas.
